Join us for an inspiring evening with Cory McCray, Baltimore native, journeyman electrician, and author of The Apprenticeship That Saved My Life: Guidebook to Navigating the Earn-While-You-Learn Opportunity of a Lifetime.
In this powerful memoir, McCray reflects on the lessons, discipline, and exposure gained through an apprenticeship that changed his life—and how that foundation led him to a life of purpose, policy, and service. His story is rooted in access and opportunity, and speaks directly to the young people and families often left out of traditional pathways.
Whether you’re a student, educator, parent, policymaker, or advocate—this conversation will challenge old narratives and lift up new possibilities.
