Ready, Set, Vend!

Join local Baltimore-based printmaker, MC Carey of Femme Prints, for a workshop dedicated to all things vending.

This workshop is perfect for people who are new to the world of selling artwork at markets and/or people who have some experience are having a hard time making sales happen at the markets they are attending. MC will go through a brief look into their vending history, some of their biggest do’s and don’ts for vending, creating an attractive market set-up, where to find the right market and crowd for you, and end with a vendor display swap!

This workshop will be partially group discussion-based and will provide space for lots of questions and feedback from the audience on what their current struggles with vending are.

After the workshop participants can engage in a vending display SWAP! Bring your well loved (but no longer needed ) vending display items for a good old fashion table swap. If you have leveled up your display recently and have been holding onto past items used in your set-up, this is the perfect time to bring them and share the wealth! One of the biggest barriers to bringing customers into even see what you have to offer is a lackluster display, let’s fix that!
