Messy Church

Messy Church is a church, but not as you know it, combining activities & crafts, hospitality, and worship for all ages. Messy Church meets the 1st Friday of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. beginning Friday, October 3rd. Each gathering focuses on a Bible story or Christian teaching. Our first Messy Church will focus on Matthew 7:12:

“In everything do to others as you would have them do to you;
for this is the law and the prophets.”

Through prayer, song, crafts, games, and discussion, we will learn how small acts of kindness, appreciation, and mercy can have large effects on the people we love and the world around us. We will write thank you notes to community “helpers” like firefighters, teachers, and crossing guards; sing songs about Christian love, and eat dinner together to make new friends in Christ.
