Join us for a free screening of Spike Lee's HIGHEST 2 LOWEST (A24) followed by a special Q&A with Ngozi “Gozi” Olandu-Young—the film’s makeup department head and an Emmy-nominated, two-time NAACP Image Award–winning artist. The conversation will be moderated by author and editor D. Watkins.

From set-ready realism to bold, character-driven looks, Gozi will take us behind the scenes of the craft—how makeup shapes story, performance, and visual tone—and offer practical insights for aspiring filmmakers and artists.
