This weekend will include the “Blueprint” conference that will promote Baltimore history in marginalized groups. This will be a day to learn and experience LGBTQ culture.
On Saturday, Keith and Lisa will bring back major balls in Baltimore. The Iconic Lisa made history by merging her experience in fashion coupled with her love for art and the runway which put Baltimore on the map as a ball and artistic city. Legendary Keith became the 1st (currently only) publicly elected official to hail from the underground ballroom scene and created the Know Your Status Free ball. Both individuals repped their city with grand prizes on the runway and uplifted marginalized communities around the world off the floor. This weekend, they will honor our trailblazers and make history together!!!!

$100 Beginners Runway- Blueprint is all about knowing your history. Bring it in an effect inspired by your favorite runway legend or icon. Your inspiration can be a egend for any style of runway.
$100 Beginners Performance- You studied their style and now it’s time to step out and show what you learned while paying homage to your favorite performance legend or icon. Bring a shirt with the name of your legendary inspiration.
OTA Realness: Home of the wire. Baltimore is known for blending when Momma doesn’t know and Poppa can’t tell. Bring the ultimate team to the runway. One FF and one MF. MF vs FF vs Legends/Icons
$Runway- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), overdose rates among people of color have seen disproportionate increases, with American Indian or Alaska Native people and Black people experiencing some of the highest and fastest-growing rates in the U.S.. This trend widened existing health disparities, particularly exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile the walking wonders of ballroom has continuously debated over if grand prize should be based off effect or walk. Tonight let’s settle the score while paying homage to the fight against overdoses. In Blue or Black jeans and any purple shirt (polo, t shirt, etc) in honor of the international day of overdoses held annually on August 31st. AA vs European vs FF vs Legend/Icon

$200 MF Labels- Lori Harvey is looking for a date to bring to her dad’s evening fundraising gala to raise money for the opioid restitution fund. Come to impress the Harveys while putting your expensive looks on for a good cause.

Fag Out- Now more than ever we need to show pride in who we are. October is Black Gay Pride and the Center of Black Equity is looking for you as a spokesperson for their new campaign promoting freedom of expression. Now…there have been many that broke down this category so let’s see if you can continue the legacy.
$ Transman Performance- October is LGBTQ+ history month. Tonight give us a stellar performance from any of the greats living or dead. Do your research and honor the history of performance as only a stellar man of trans experience could.
$250 Mini grand prize- Schoolboy vs. schoolgirl realness- Your assignment- ViiV provides support and life saving medication around the world. Let’s see you create a poster board about ViiV, their medications, and initiatives to keep people sexually healthy. The poster boards will be graded by a team of health workers. The realness winner will receive first place and the cash. FYI- We will have a 2nd place awarded to the best poster board.
$200 Face: The state of Maryland is launching their “Maryland is beautiful” campaign and looking for a face duo that will represent the beauty of the state that separated the Mason Dixon line”. Now we know face has seen different types starting with natural beauties such as Tanay Pendavis Garçon and Mo’dayvia Labejia to painted face to surged out face!! Let’s see a duo that simply define what it means to just have face. The look is on you!
Designers Delight: Center of Black Equity is doing a fashion show to celebrate black excellence. It’s an open call for a designer and their models. Tonight we want to see 2 original designs (your work) brought to the runway. *The winner will receive a photoshoot, free membership to the MD LGBTQ chamber of commerce, $200 cash prize, and some surprise gifts*
$1000 Team BQID realness: BQID’s Realness as a House (Mini Grand)
October is LGBT history month and the Pioneer Lisa Garnett Revlon is requesting for a recreation- “It was 4 of us from Bmore that came to storm Pepper Labeija / Dorian Corey / Harlem Fantasy / 1989 Ball at Trax”.
Tonight it will be 3 to hit the runway in complementing looks with a special finale guest to create a team of 4.
*The team will need to have a group photo of them as BQ’s out and about*
$500 BQ Performance: Baltimore has been home of some of the best to ever do it merging personality and performance from state to state. In the name of the icons Peanut Revlon, Stacy Lanvin, Ricky Allure, Marquise Revlon, David Revlon, King James West, and Mook Ebony. Bring forth a signature move worthy of voguing in a town that produced many icons. Maybe a legend will come thru to show why they are still a staple for this category. Twister vs Sister
$200 Perfect Tens: One name- Baltimore’s own Icon Sabrina has demolished this category while also advocating on public health concerns. Come pay homage with a touch of yellow for the Sunshine girl. (Face, Body, and Realness)
BQ Sex Siren: Baltimore has always been known as a bangy city. Even the softest BQs know how to maneuver in these streets. Come like you leaving a day of playing basketball with fellas and strip down to a sexy look to hit the showers.
$2000 GP 1: The Iconic Lisa Garnett Revlon and Legendary Keith Ebony has been staples for their cities and ballroom culture in general. Lisa has curated art projects in the US and Europe by fusing her love of fashion, advocacy and the arts. Keith made history with the creation of the Know your status free ball, Anithsonian, and Peabody Ballroom experience all which he created. The theme of this ball is to bridge agenerations and produce something that will continue as a staple in our community created by our community. Think Diana Ross and Beyoncé making an album lol. The blueprint is bringing generations and statuses together. Tonight we want our iconic and legendary walking wonders to join forces in fashionable and complementing effects. Must be on point as a team!!!!-

MF Face- Chip Revlon (from Baltimore R.I.P.)
would be the ink that would start laying the print for FACE. Then came the ICON Dwayne Revlon who would continue to lay the foundation. Dwayne would travel from Baltimore to NYC to battle the greats in his category that positioned him as Baltimore Blue Print for FACE. So mirror on the wall…Who now reigns as the BQ Face of them all.
