A PoP oF PRiNTs is a reimagined artist talk with self-taught multidisciplinary artist Keyona Lynea, held at Spare Room Gallery. The event invites attendees to engage with her work through an interactive creative experience. As Keyona shares the inspiration behind her debut exhibition, THE FiNAL FiTTiNG, guests will customize a digital print using vibrant markers and patterned stencils - transforming conversation into creation.

Keyona Lynea is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist from Baltimore, MD, whose artistic journey began in childhood with music as an early extension of her imagination before evolving into painting. Drawing from her background in fashion styling, she has cultivated a visual language that merges menswear styling, architecture, and abstraction, working with fabrics, cardboard, and rich brown hues. Intentionally omitting facial features and focusing instead on posture and clothing, Keyona incorporates sustainable fabrics and deconstructs three-dimensional silhouettes in her figurative paintings to explore the depths of self-expression and emotional regulation within Black men. Her work redefines artistic expression and inspires her to continue creating spaces of renewal and growth for Black men, where self-expression is seen and deeply felt. Keyona's paintings have been featured in group exhibitions and are included in private collections.
