A Collective Light: Human Trafficking Awareness Event

Join us for the first annual "A Collective Light" Gathering, a powerful community event dedicated to learning, connection, and survivor-centered support.

This year’s program includes a 1-hour Human Trafficking Awareness presentation, where attendees will gain:

Human Trafficking 101: Understanding what trafficking is, and what it is not.
The long-term impacts on survivors: how trauma, chronic stress, and systemic barriers shape healing.The unveiling of the Luna Collective: our new survivor-led community space designed to support long-term and peer-led community, empowerment, and ongoing life-skills education.

A Collective Light is the theme of this year’s gathering because healing does not happen alone; it grows through community care, connection, and shared responsibility.

This theme reflects the warmth, visibility, and hope that survivors deserve, while reminding all attendees, including donors and partners, that every individual has a role in creating pathways to safety and empowerment. A Collective Light symbolizes what becomes possible when we shine awareness, compassion, and action together.

Following the presentation, guests are invited to take part in a meaningful hands-on activity:

Build a Self-Care Basket for a Survivor
Together, we’ll assemble self-care baskets filled with grounding tools, comforting items, and emotional support resources. These baskets will be given directly to survivors to use in support groups, therapy, and any difficult moments, adding to their personal “coping skills toolboxes.”

Attendees will leave with:

✨ A deeper understanding of human trafficking

✨ Tools to educate others in their communities

✨ A stronger sense of how compassion and action create change

✨ The experience of contributing directly to survivor wellbeing

✨ Please feel free to bring an item to add to the self-care basket for survivors.
