Starts with a mini 10 minute guided rest with sound bowls, children’s story book (based around emotions) and then a Meditative Play with clay.

Join Anna for a special holiday morning of creativity and connection designed for children and their parents to enjoy together.
We’ll begin with a gentle 10-minute guided rest accompanied by the soothing sounds of singing bowls, helping everyone to arrive in a calm and peaceful space. From there, children will be invited into the world of imagination through a beautiful storybook reading that touches on themes of emotions and mindfulness in a playful, age-appropriate way.
The session then opens into Meditative Play with Clay — a hands-on, sensory exploration where children (and parents!) can let their creativity flow. Working with clay is grounding, fun, and expressive, offering a wonderful opportunity for kids to shape their feelings into forms while building confidence and enjoying time together. Parents are warmly encouraged to participate alongside their children, sharing in the joy of mindful making.
This workshop offers a nurturing blend of rest, storytelling, and creative expression — a perfect balance of fun and calm for the school holidays.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Anna from KidzArt Sunshine Coast has a background in Education, the Arts, and the Yoga world and offers a shared experience for families and their children through storytelling, movement, guided rest and guided Art. Her inspiration comes from magical moments in nature, silence, life’s challenges, kind and compassionate experiences and the beauty of Life.
Anna is a registered teacher with QCT and a Member of Yoga Australia.
