Magic Kantha with Susan Dodds

Learn how to stitch a Kantha image onto a fat quarter - can be used for a cushion or a quilt center or a bag.
Choice of "moon gazing hare" or dragonfly

You will learn
*Kantha stitching
*marking the image onto fabric
*working with water soluble stabiliser
*colour choice

REQUIREMENTS
1 x fat quarter
0.5 mt water soluble stabiliser
Embroidery threads - bring what you have and discuss with teacher, perle cotton (size 12 or 8) is highly recommended although other threads can be used
embroidery needle
thread snips
*a light box will help but it is not essential
All materials can be purchased in house

Recommended 2 classes to complete project. All students will be at different levels which makes it difficult to say with absolute certainty how many classes you will require.
Extra classes available should you want to turn your beautiful Kantha sample into a finished product.

$45.00 per class when 2 or more classes are booked and fully paid
$50.00 per single class
