Hi all BHC members!
The club has organised a working bee on Saturday 7th February at 3:30pm, followed by a gathering at the bar for a drink after all the hard work. Many hands make light work, so please consider coming along to lend some time to help keep our grounds looking great.
If anyone has any equipment/gear like ladders or a gurney or any sort of helpful tools that can be brought along that would be appreciated. There is a list below and if people could offer to volunteer for a job off the list and come in and get it done, that would be amazing.
List for jobs to be completed -
- Whipper snip, mow, rake and blow all paths
- Cut trees hanging over fences
- Touch up bases of poles with gal zing spray
- Clean up mower shed
- Tip Run
- Pressure clean any mouldy paths
- Clean up and re-organise gear shed
- Clean up control box
- Attach loose netting behind goals
- Clean drains under turf turf entries
- Touch up painting to handrails and poles
- Clubhouse and beer shed external wash
- Window clean in clubhouse
- Secure grate in front of gear shed
- Glue areas of lifting turf
- Re-fix signs that have fallen off and make sure other signs are fixed off
- Test all water cannons are working
- Mulch gardens
