Aqueduct Walk

SAVE OUR AQUEDUCT WALKING TRACK

You are invited to walk along the Ballan aqueduct track on

SUNDAY 3rd AUGUST 10 am

It’s a lovely walk beside the old, disused aqueduct that runs from opposite Crossroads through to the Western Highway. This land is owned by Barwon Water and is at risk of being sold to the housing developer who has bought the 90 hectares of farmland east of the aqueduct track.
Many of us want this strip of land to be saved and kept as a walking/bike track. The old aqueduct has historical value (built in 1900) and provides habitat for frogs and native grasses.

Join us for a walk on Sunday 3rd August – weather permitting.

Meet opposite Crossroads at 10 am.

Walk as much or as little as you want.

Nice views. Flat track.
