Join us for an afternoon of deep exploration as Alice returns to OmGrown to guide us through the intricate connection between the nervous system and the physical body—focusing on the vagus nerve and the psoas muscle.
The vagus nerve, often called the "wandering nerve," travels from the brainstem down to the abdomen, touching the heart and nearly all major organs along the way. As the main component of the parasympathetic nervous system, it plays a crucial role in regulating digestion, heart rate, immunity, and emotional well-being.
The psoas is the body’s deepest core muscle—a powerful, sensitive structure that links our posture, breath, and primal fight-or-flight responses. It’s also intricately connected to our sense of safety and grounded presence.
In this experiential workshop, we’ll move, feel, and learn—diving into embodied practices that help release tension, support nervous system regulation, and reconnect us to our body's innate wisdom.
Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of the mind-body connection or simply unwind and restore, this workshop offers profound tools for healing and integration.
