Our Local History Series with Alan Van Loenen

🌻On SATURDAY 8/2 at 12:30 pm, don't miss Our Local History Series, done in conjunction with our friends from The Santa Fe Trail Historical Society of Douglas County, KS.🌻

Alan Van Loenen 3rd Kansas, Light Artillery, Reenactment Unit, will bring American Civil War uniforms and equipment to display and describe. These items are mostly reproductions, but they are exact replicas of those used during the American Civil War, 1861-1865. He will also have a couple of reproduction Civil War weapons for part of his program.

PLUS: We will also display an Underground Railroad Quilt started by Sharon Andrews, (donated by her family to the Quilt Capital of Kansas group).
