How are you feeling these days? If you are struggling, for whatever reason, you
are not alone. And we all know how important community can be in helping us
navigate through difficult times. And if things are going great, it is wonderful to
celebrate with others. With that in mind, I invite you to join me on Tuesday, July 8
at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Balaton.
THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOS GATHERING! Since I do not know how many
people will attend, the church was the most logical place for me to have this event.
LEAVE YOUR POLITICS AT HOME! We will start by looking at an article
called, “Hope and Despair in a World Gone Mad: Why Connection Matters More
Than Ever.” From there, we will see where it takes us. This is going to be a very
free flowing conversation between those of us who attend. I will not be planning
any agenda other than introducing the article.
EVERYONE is encouraged to come! The more diversity we have, the better it
will be. We can learn from each other if we are willing to listen to what the other
person has to say, even if we don’t agree with what we are hearing. Bring a friend,
or a bunch of friends. If you are unable to come but this is something that would
interest you in the future, please let me know. Hope to see you next Tuesday.
