Come get sweet and cozy with us this afternoon for a heart-opening and deeply relaxing sound journey inward. The container begins with a cacao ceremony (herbal tea also available) to drop more deeply into our bodies, soften our hearts, awaken the subtle sensations within us and to ground our intentions and prayers together.
You'll then be guided on a 90 minute collaborative sound journey with Krystina & Matthew — featuring crystal singing bowls, live looped angelic vocals, layered ambient guitar, world flutes, handpan (!), gong, percussion, rattles, drones, chimes and guided meditation. This will be our 6th event together, and the groove is deepening!
The Winter Solstice ✨ is the longest night of the year and spiritually speaking is considered a potent window for reflection, re-alignment, renewal, and going inward. In short, the veils within us are a bit more thin and our access to our inner nature, the beauty within and beyond the self, as well as to our inner content for reflection can often times be more accessible.
Cocoon (the studio) provides yoga mats and eye masks, but please bring extra blankets, pillows, (a journal) and anything you need to be cozy.
Cacao has been used in ceremonial and ritual contexts dating back to the Olmecs in 1400-500 BCE as well as by many other cultures and civilizations. Cacao is also biochemically complex with over 600 bioactive molecules, and her spirit can open our spiritual or subtle senses, creating a doorway to go deeper during the sound journey.
Our intention is to create a space of deep relaxation and presence, guiding us into the invisible, dream-like worlds below the surface into your own ethereal nature, rhythms, and formless spaces within.

Matthew @subtle.energetics is an Intuitive Reader and Healer and Sound Journey Facilitator who creates soundscapes with live-looped flutes, guitar, percussion, bowls, guided meditation, and recordings from nature. He guides meditations with the aim to transport listeners beyond the surface into their own ethereal nature, presence, and spiritual dimensions within and through the body.In addition to his healing and teaching practice, Matt runs the creative agency, Elevate Living Courses where he has supported over 400 organizations, healers, therapists, and spiritual teachers in developing their businesses and professional trainings.
Krystina Francine @soothingsomaticsounds, a master of sound healing, weaves a meditative journey through somatic healing and self-discovery. Drawing on her deep connection to music as medicine, Krystina guides you into a space of healing at the core. Her sound bath integrates soothing vibrations from quartz crystal singing bowls, percussion instruments and live vocals, amplified through loop stations, creating an ethereal experience that blends beauty, magic and deep healing.
