About the event

Justin Timberlake to Perform in Azerbaijan for the First Time

On July 27 2025 Justin Timberlake will perform at the Baku Olympic Stadium in the capital of Azerbaijan.

The artist's musical journey began in the late 1990s as part of the boy band 'N Sync which he left in 2002 to pursue a solo career. Since then he has successfully forged his own path delivering numerous chart-topping hits to the world.

On August 25 2013 the group briefly reunited for a two-minute performance at the MTV Video Music Awards where Timberlake was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for his contribution to the music industry. For the first time in 11 years the group performed hits like Bye Bye Bye It’s Gonna Be Me as well as Paradise from Timberlake’s then-upcoming release. However the artist later stated that he had no plans to return to the boy band scene choosing instead to continue developing his solo career.

Justin Timberlake's 2025 world tour supports his 2024 album Everything I Thought It Was. The album comprising eighteen tracks is filled with nostalgia and deeply personal reflections. It includes several collaborations notably with American rapper Tobe Nwigwe Nigerian singer Fireboy DML and even members of 'N Sync with whom Timberlake maintains friendly ties.

One of the standout tracks Memphis is a nostalgic and heartfelt song about returning to his hometown. It was in Memphis that Timberlake spent his childhood and wrote his earliest lyrics and melodies—some of which would later become global hits.

The new album follows the stylistic blueprint of his previous studio works notably echoing FutureSex/LoveSounds. While the signature elements remain recognizable across all 18 tracks Timberlake fearlessly steps outside conventional trends experimenting with different genres including rap and touches of Latin music.

The result is a diverse collection that has something for everyone — from the mystic psychedelic vibe of Memphis to the disco-funk flair of No Angels reminiscent of Jamiroquai to the modern ballad Alone.
