A Benefit Concert For Crossroads Education Program
Crossroads Arts Education
ArtSpeak was founded in 1987 by Debbie Friedman, and its original purpose was to help underserved and disadvantaged populations within the community. Since then, it has benefitted hundreds and positively impacted thousands. Crossroads Carnegie Art Center has been a stable base of support for ArtSpeak for many years by providing space for classes, assistance in grant writing and donated administrative services.
While the program continues to focus on making the arts accessible to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity, ArtSpeak has evolved into Crossroads’ comprehensive Education Program. This means there is no longer a distinction between “ArtSpeak” classes and “Program” classes; instead, we embrace a unified vision. At the heart of Crossroads lies ArtSpeak, and a passionate belief in the transformative power of the arts, ensuring that they are available to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
