The Truck Cat - National Simultaneous Storytime

Join us for this years National Simultaneous Storytime event. This is an annual event by the Australia Library and Information Association. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian Author and illustrator, is read simultaneous in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, bookshops and many other places across Australia. Now it it's 25th year, it is a colourful , vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book that explores age-appropriate themes.

Last year was the biggest and most successful NSS to date with over 2.3 million participants at over 21,000 locations.

Our avid storytime reader, Karyn, will be reading The Truck Cat and we have lots of fun activities to make our NSS storytime event a fantastic event.

All participants can save 20% off the RRP of the book plus we have a quantity of free bookmarks.

Our instore cafe will be open for lunch, coffee, babychinos, etc....
