Annual Spooky Stories Night at U Speak Easy Toastmasters

Every year, on a dark October night, U Speak Easy Toastmasters sets the mood for Halloween. The annual Spooky Stories Night features speakers, beginners to advanced, telling their best tales of terror. Guests can tell a story, based on prompts during "terrifying table topics!"

We invite you to join us for our best short tales of terror - even though the laughter may drown out the screams. Costumes are welcome, but optional. This is a special, fun event we all look forward to each year. We'll have refreshments.

This night and through the rest of the year....We meet in person at the BARN on Bainbridge. We have remote members who attend by Zoom. This makes our club the perfect place to improve public speaking skills - especially if you want to learn both the art and the technology of presenting your best self both in person and on video! Newcomers are always welcome.

We meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, 7:00 - 8:15 pm. At most meetings, we feature two to three prepared speeches, five to seven minutes each, followed by impromptu speaking opportunities. Together, we make it fun to develop our skills. All club members are volunteers at this non-profit organization with deep roots in the community, built over the past twenty-five years. We come from all walks of life. U Speak Easy is a member club of Toastmasters International, a world leader in communication and leadership development for 100 years. Our global membership is 280,000 strong. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 13,500 clubs in 116 countries that make up this global network.
