An Honest Advent

We are desperate for someone to come and save the world. We are a people longing to experience real peace, to feel real joy and know real love. And yet, if we're honest, instead of leaning into the realness of the Christmas, we've sanitized the stories and have become disconnected from the very real birth of Christ. This Advent, we're reconnecting to a God who became human just like us by reconnecting to the realness of those stories so that we might find the source of all light shining bright in each of us.
