📝 *Reporting Point:*
*11:00 pm: Lonavla Railway Station on 23 Aug 2024 (Friday)*
*(Missing the train is missing Bhimashankar Trek, no refund will be provided)*
(Please arrive before 15 min at your pickup point to avoid getting late)
*IMPORTANT* – Latecomers will have to join us on the way or make their own arrangements to reach the starting point.
📝 *Itinerary:*
🚩 *Day 0:*
- 11:00 pm: Meet trek coordinators at Lonavala Railway Station.
🚩 *Day 1:*
- 00:00 am: Start trek from Lonavala Railway Station.
- 03:00 am: Reach Valvand via Tungarli Dam
- Rest for a while. Have a breakfast.
- 07:00 am: Resume trek towards Bhimashankar
- 09:00 am: Reach Kondeshwar Temple; enjoy waterfalls and trek through the dense forest area
- Continue trek to Kusur Plateau
- 02:00 pm: Reach Kusur village; have a locally made lunch
- 03:00 pm: Travel from Kusur to Talpewadi by shared vehicle (approx. 15 km)
- 03:30 pm: Start jungle trek from Talpewadi to Padarwadi via WandreKhind
- 07:00 pm: Reach Padarwadi; freshen up and have dinner
- 09:00 pm: Retire for the day
🚩 *Day 2:*
- 06:00 am: Wake-up call; freshen up
- 06:30 am: Have breakfast and tea.
- 07:00 am: Resume trek.
- Walk through the thick forest of Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary; visit temples of Lord Khetoba and Goddess Kamaljai.
- 02:00 pm: Reach Bhimashankar temple; worship Lord Shiva. Trek concludes.
- 02:30 pm: Enjoy a warm and delicious local meal.
- After meal, Travel to Pune/Mumbai with happy memories and collected non-biodegradable waste.
- Reach Pune/Mumbai; say goodbye to trek buddies. Stay in touch through phone/social media for future treks.
