Victoria County and the Nova Scotia Department of Communities Culture Tourism and Heritage will be hosting an information sessions focused on funding. The event aims to address some common challenges and identify opportunities.
The sessions will cover the most common questions community volunteers have when preparing funding applications:
- What funding programs are currently available?
- What are the key deadlines?
- Is our project eligible for support?
- Which funding path makes the most sense for us?
The session will:
- Provide an overview of funding programs and eligibility requirements
- Help organizations align their goals with the right funding opportunities, from facility upgrades to community events
- Share practical tips and best practices for grant writing
