Domenica 7 Settembre 2025 – Un’occasione speciale per vivere la montagna più alta di Ischia avvolta dalla luce magica della Luna di Mais.

Saliremo insieme lungo i sentieri del versante sud, tra il profumo del bosco e le pareti di tufo verde, là dove un tempo passavano muli e contadini. Cammineremo nel silenzio della sera, guidati dalla luce naturale e dalle voci del gruppo, fino a raggiungere la vetta del Monte Epomeo, dove lo sguardo si perde tra il mare, le isole vicine e la costa lontana, tutta disegnata dalla luna.
✨ Dopo aver goduto del panorama notturno, scenderemo a piedi lungo un sentiero facile, e ci fermeremo per una merenda campestre all’aperto, ovvero il tradizionale "culurcio" di pane di grano antico condito con prodotti a Chilometro-0 (pomodori, verdure di stagione, origano del Monte Epomeo): un momento conviviale, con prodotti genuini della locale azienda agricola, con la collaborazione di Rifugio "Miscillo Sapori e...", per condividere la bellezza della natura e il gusto autentico dell’isola.
Da lì, una strada carrabile potrà essere percorsa in autonomia dai partecipanti (tempo di discesa: circa 45 minuti a piedi) fino alla fermata dell’autobus.
🚗 Per chi è arrivato in auto, provvederemo ad accompagnare i partecipanti al punto di partenza per recuperare i veicoli.

We will walk together along the southern slopes of the mountain, among the scents of the forest and the green tuff walls, once crossed by farmers and mules. We’ll move in the evening quiet, guided by natural moonlight and the shared rhythm of the group, until we reach the summit of Mount Epomeo, where the view opens wide over the sea, the nearby islands, and the distant coastline — all outlined by moonlight.
✨ After taking in the breathtaking nighttime panorama, we’ll begin our gentle descent and pause for a rustic open-air snack, featuring the traditional culurcio: ancient grain bread dressed with zero-kilometre ingredients — fresh tomatoes, seasonal vegetables, and wild oregano from the slopes of Epomeo. A convivial moment, with authentic products from a local farm, thanks to the collaboration of the Rifugio “Miscillo Sapori e…”, to share the beauty of nature and the true flavors of the island.
From there, a country road can be followed independently by participants (approx. 45-minute walk downhill) to the nearest bus stop.
🚗 For those who came by car, we will provide transport back to the starting point to collect your vehicle.
