Lerderderg Gorge Scenic Rim

Ready for a challenge? Come and tackle the Scenic Rim with Walks Leader David Moore. This exhilarating walk takes in the Lerderderg River and steep spur tracks with spectacular views of the river and the gorge.

This six-hour circuit through Lerderderg State Park isn't for the faint-hearted, but seasoned hikers with a good level of fitness will find it a true gem. Expect steep climbs, rocky descents, and water crossings that might just leave your boots a little soggy. It’s tough going at times, but every step brings you closer to the park’s most dramatic and hidden corners. Rugged, remote, and seriously rewarding—this is Lerderderg at its wildest.
