Pop-up field trip: Sunday 8/31: Impressionistic Photography at Mead Gardens

A pop-up field trip for impressionistic photography is scheduled for Sunday August 31 at Mead Gardens in Winter Park, https://meadgarden.org/. This aligns with our September Informal Challenge on Impressionism. Here is a Google Maps pin for the location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jMnBiGDhHQXyaQ9P8 .

Time to meet is 8:00 am in the area by the last parking lot with the red dot, see the attached map. Use the Demmings Drive Entrance. There is no entrance fee to Mead Gardens.


Mary Scheibe will be guiding us on photographic techniques and tips on taking impressionistic photographs. She provided photos from the best book on Impressionistic Photography to help you make the impressionistic look and feel. You may need a tripod if you want exact detailed photos. Depending on your creative ability and to hold the camera steady for multiple images.
