Lower Haw Natural Area Clean-Up

Meet at Earl Thompson Park in Bynum

Join Friends of Lower Haw and Haw River Assembly for a volunteer workday to help clean up trash and debris from Tropical Storm Chantal in the Lower Haw Natural Area, between Bynum and Pokeberry Creek.

We’ll provide bags, grabbers, and extra gloves if needed. Please bring your own water, comfortable shoes, bug spray, and any personal items you might need. No RSVP is required — just meet us at Earl Thompson Park at 9:00 AM for a brief safety chat before we begin.
