Battle of the Bands & Bandeoke

Sunday afternoon is all about showcasing musical talent and inviting you to join the fun. Whether you’re supporting or discovering your new favourite local band or stepping up to the mic yourself!

Battle of the Bands, 12-4:30pm
Support the next generation of future musicians as they battle it out on stage in front of a live audience. With two age categories and a ton of local talent, you can expect a diverse range of styles, friendly competition and bands made up from all walks of life.

Bandeoke, 5-6:30pm
If you’ve always wanted to be the lead singer of a band, this is your chance! Choose from a large selection of tracks, performed with a full live band behind you. Cheer on your fellow performers and soak up the electric atmosphere.

Activities and refreshments
-Free festival crafts available and glitter tattoos with a donation to the Mayor’s Charity.
-Bars and caterers will be open from 12 noon so you can refresh yourselves all day long and stick around afterwards to enjoy Proms in the Park from 7:15pm.
