About the event

Mastering Seasonal Preserves Course
Join Rachel at River Cottage for a hands on preserves course where you will learn to capture the flavours of each season using produce from our kitchen garden, orchards and the wild hedgerows of our 100 acre organic farm.

Learn more here > https://rivercottage.net/courses/artisanal-skills/preserve-the-seasons/

Every class is unique to the season reflecting the true River Cottage spirit. You will master techniques for making jams, chutneys, pickles, ferments, dried goods and infused preserves from fresh seasonal ingredients. By the end of the day you will be confident to preserve fruits and vegetables from your own garden, local markets or hedgerows.

Preserving is more than creating delicious seasonal treats it is a smart way to reduce food waste and make the most of every harvest. Take home a bag filled with jars of your own handmade preserves plus our special hedgerow creations.
