ANNOUNCEMENT: Good news everyone.. we are starting a new Modern Jive Night in Sidmouth! It will run every Wednesday starting from the 18th of March!
The Conservative Club is a lovely little venue with a licensed bar, comfy seats, good dance floor and a small stage. It has even got air conditioning if things start to get hot.
As there is a bar please don’t bring drinks with you.
There is paid parking onsite and free parking in the surrounding streets.
We have a good feeling about this one! It’s never going to be huge (the venue isn’t big enough for that) but it is going to be a nice place to hang out and do some dancing.

Beginner and Intermediate Modern Jive classes with freestyle time before, in between and after classes to give you lots of time to practice and socialise.
New beginners are welcome every week as the classes are not run as a course.
Format as follows:
- Doors open 7:45pm
- Music until 8pm
- Beginner class (40 to 45 mins)
- Music until 9pm
- Intermediate class and beginner coaching (40 to 45 mins)
- Music until 10:30pm
Drinks:
There is a licensed bar, please don't bring your own drinks with you.
Parking:
Paid parking is available at the venue and free parking is available on the surrounding streets.
Entry:
£8.00 for members
£5 with a valid student card
