Moonlight on the Boardwalk

Come out for a magical evening on August 7 to enjoy the nearly full moon as you explore the 2.25-mile boardwalk through our ancient bald cypress forest with trees more than 500 years old.

The event runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The moon rises at 7:10 p.m., with sunset at 8 p.m. The last admission is at 8:30 p.m

Adults enjoy discounted admission at $8, with $3 admission for kids ages 6-14. Children 5 and under enter for free.

Guests are encouraged to use a red flashlight for this event, as red light is less disruptive to nocturnal wildlife. Red cellophane will be available at no cost to cover flashlights and cameras that use a white light. Did you know? Red light is less disturbing for our nocturnal wildlife and better for maintaining your night vision.

If inclement weather results in event cancellation, all tickets will be refunded.
