Upcycling- Mending With Love #sashiko

Join us for a hands on visual mending workshop where you’ll learn the art of transforming worn clothing into beautiful, renewed pieces. We’ll explore Sashiko-inspired embroidered patches that turn tears and holes into decorative features, discover how to use a mini-loom to seamlessly repair sweaters and kintwear, and experiment with natural dye baths to refresh stained garments or give them an entirely new look.

Bring a piece of clothing from home that needs some love, or browse (and bring things for) our clothing swap to find something new-to-you to work with. Whether you’re looking to extend the life of a favorite garment or simply want to try sustainable fashion technoques, this workshop combines practical mending skills with creative expression, helping you build a more intentional relationship with your wardrobe.
