Step inside the creative process with Austin’s genre-bending string quartet Invoke at their new monthly series Under the Hood, live at Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches. Each show begins with Invoke pulling back the curtain on what they’re working on—new pieces, fresh arrangements, and spontaneous improvisation—before bringing a special guest on stage for an unforgettable collaboration.
On Monday, September 15 at 7:30 p.m., Invoke welcomes Grammy Award-winning soprano, songwriter, and actress Hilá Plitmann. Known for her fearless versatility, Hilá has appeared on blockbuster film soundtracks (The Da Vinci Code, Pirates of the Caribbean, Batman v. Superman), won a Grammy for John Corigliano’s Mr. Tambourine Man, and worked with leading composers from Eric Whitacre to Richard Danielpour. This rare Austin appearance promises a night of discovery, risk, and extraordinary music-making.
And while the music soars, Batch has you covered with craft beer, gourmet kolaches, and a full coffee and espresso bar.
