🌕 Hapé Circle with the Yawanawa – A Full Moon & Dharma Day Gathering

Join us on Thursday, July 10, 2025, for a sacred evening under the full moon, as we gather in reverence, reflection, and deep connection. This special night honors both the Capricorn Full Moon and Dharma Day—a powerful convergence of cosmic and spiritual alignment. We’re honored to welcome spiritual leaders of the Yawanawa, guardians of sacred medicines and ancestral song from the heart of the Amazon, for this profound ceremonial gathering.

Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred Amazonian plant medicine made from finely ground tobacco and various medicinal herbs. It is traditionally administered through the nose with the help of a special pipe (Tepi or Kuripe). This medicine clears mental fog, opens energetic pathways, and deepens meditative states. In a circle setting, Hapé becomes more than medicine—it becomes a mirror, an anchor, and a connector to the Earth, to spirit, and to each other.

This circle will be gently guided and held with intention, creating a container for reflection, healing, and communal resonance.

The Full Moon in Capricorn invites us to ground our highest vision into real-world action, emphasizing maturity, responsibility, and inner authority. At the same time, Dharma Day—celebrated across Buddhist traditions—marks the Buddha’s first teaching and the beginning of the path of wisdom. In this sacred container, we weave together Indigenous wisdom, celestial timing, and spiritual devotion to create a powerful space for alignment and activation.

This full moon invites us to balance our dreams with grounded discipline. Capricorn is the sign of structure, responsibility, and long-term vision. Under this moon, we are encouraged to assess our foundations and align with our higher purpose. In community, we harness this energy to anchor our intentions and embody integrity, wisdom, and self-leadership.

Dharma Day (Asalha Puja) is one of the most sacred Buddhist holidays, commemorating the Buddha’s first teaching after his enlightenment—the turning of the Wheel of Dharma. It is a day to reflect on our individual paths, our commitment to truth, and our service to the collective good.

As we gather with the Yawanawa on this sacred day, we honor both ancient traditions and living lineages of wisdom, aligning ourselves with a deeper sense of spiritual responsibility and purpose.
