The New Teaming Loop: How Teams Win in Perpetual Change (and What Happens When AI Joins the Team)
Teams used to be built for stability. Clear plans, steady priorities, predictable rhythms. But that world is gone. Today’s teams are operating in perpetual change: shifting goals, constant pivots, growing workload, and more complexity than most operating norms were ever designed to handle. In this session, Dr. Vijay Pendakur will introduce The New Teaming Loop, a practical, behavior-level framework for how high-performing teams stay aligned, resilient, and effective when disruption is no longer episodic, but constant. Rather than focusing on culture slogans or big transformation efforts, we’ll zoom in on the everyday teaming habits that determine whether teams build momentum or get trapped in friction and rework. And then we’ll look around the corner: what happens when AI tools and agents become embedded in daily workflows. AI isn’t just a productivity shift. It changes how coordination happens, how clarity is created, how decisions get made, and how trust is built. Leaders and People Analytics teams will need new ways to understand and measure “team health” in a world where some of the work is no longer done by humans. This will be a fast-paced, interactive talk with real examples, practical tools, and a clear takeaway: if we want teams to thrive in perpetual change, we need to upgrade the way teams operate, not just the way individuals perform.
