New York Times Discussion Group

Hello Everybody!

Neighbors Jeff Baloutine, Andrew Clements and I are starting a "New York Times Discussion Group" in the Mueller neighborhood. It is modelled after a group that my mother attends where she lives.

The purpose of this group to build social connections and develop our understanding of public policy issues.

We will start by meeting at 9:00 AM a Lady Quack's Bakery and Cake Shop (1900 Aldrich Street, Suite 300) on September 19th. The group will initially meet every other week, so the sescond meeting will be on October 3.

We will meet every other Friday for the time being. The group leader will select up to 3 articles from the New York Times for the group to discuss. We expect the discussion will last approximately 1 hour.

You do not have to be a subscriber in order to participate. We will be selecting the articles that will provide the opening for the discussion, and share them on Facebook so that non-subscribers will be able to read the article.

Please a direct message if you are planing to attend. If the response is overwhelming, we might need to change venues.
