Moontower Society is hosting one of our own as Addie Olsen Rasche delivers a talk on the venture capital industry. Come hear Addie give an overview of the venture capital industry sharing lessons about what venture capital investors look for in founders and companies, how venture capitalists work with founders, and other learnings from her time at Silverton Partners. Addie will also answer student questions with her time. Come if you have interest in learning about how early-stage companies are built or if you are curious about a career as a venture capitalist.

Food and beverages will be provided for students who attend. Please RSVP to ensure we have enough food to feed all who are present!

About Our Speaker

Addie joined Silverton Partners as a Senior Associate in 2023 after working for the firm as a part-time Associate while pursuing her MBA. She rose to Principal in 2025. Prior to investing, Addie worked in the music and live entertainment industry for nearly a decade. In college, she joined the founding team of an event production startup that was later acquired by AEG Presents, the world’s second largest sports and live entertainment company. In 2018, Addie moved to Austin to oversee strategic growth and new projects at C3 Presents, a subsidiary of Live Nation. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Addie holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business and B.A. degrees in both Political Science and Communications from Tulane University.

Learn About the Launch of the Moontower Fellows Program

We will share details about our new Moontower Fellows Program, which will allow students to work with members of Moontower Society in the planning and marketing of programming for students. Students will be able to build relationships with builders, founders, lawyers, and venture capitalists.
