We’re hitting the track this summer with a movie so '80s it’ll wash, style, and blow dry your hair. Directed by Hal Needham (SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT, HOOPER, CANNONBALL RUN), RAD tells the story of Cru Jones (Bill Allen), a high school kid whose mom (ROCKY's Talia Shire) wants him to study for the SATs and go to college. But Cru just wants to race his bike in the local BMX competition, “Helltrack,” so he can win money, fame, and every '80s kid’s dream: a Chevy Corvette. Along the way, he teams up with fellow biking enthusiast Christian Hollings (Lori Loughlin) and sets his sights on dominating Helltrack, but will his dreams be foiled by local businessman and bicycle oligarch Duke Best (Jack Weston)? Will Cru be able to beat BMX superstar Bart Taylor (Olympic gymnast Bart Connor)? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to watch Master Pancake (John, Mac, Lance) get tubular all over RAD.
