KhushFest '26 - The Unofficial SXSW Color Partyyy

Khush means "happy" in Hindi. Khush Soxiety was born in Austin, Texas and we welcome everyone to join our community of different cultural backgrounds together with great food, live music, and literally TONS of colored powder!!

🎉 This is absolutely the largest color festival in ATX!! 🎉

📍Located at the beautiful Republic Square in Downtown Austin, KhushFest 2026 will be an experience you won't want to miss!

🎶 Our DJs blend Bollywood music with top chart English and Spanish songs for a very unique multicultural experience perfect for music enthusiasts of all ages!!

🌈 Each wristband comes with 2 FREE packs of color while supplies last! Additional color packs will be available for purchase at the park!

🌮 Let's not forget the FOOD!! KhushFest is excited to showcase some of Austin's favorite local food trucks and small businesses. Enjoy several food options from all over ATX including authentic Indian Food, fusion Indian food like Indian-style fried chicken wings, BBQ, snow cones, fried goodies and candies!! Y'all we have ALL the foods!!
** Attendees may bring food and drinks from home as long as you keep our park clean!

💸 Feel free to wear a white t-shirt and leave your cash at home! This is a CASHLESS event!
** Some vendors may accept cash.

📸 Don't miss our annual festival color toss at 3pm when everyone throws a handful of color in the air at the same time!! It's the BEST way to celebrate a color festival!!

🫶 A portion of our proceeds will go to a local Austin non-profit relief organization.

Colored powder supplied by KhushFest is made from a special blend of high quality food grade cornstarch & baking soda + food dyes. Our colored powder comes in 7 vibrant colors and does not contain wheat, nuts, dairy, soy or other common allergens and is gluten free, but don’t eat it!!

To ensure a healthy & safe celebration for everyone, outside color is not permitted.
