Jewish Day at the Capitol - May 8, 2025

Representative Salman Bhojani warmly invites the Jewish Community to Austin on Thursday, May 8, 2025, to be recognized during Jewish Heritage Month and celebrate Jewish Day at the Capitol.

Schedule for the event:

9:30 am - Arrive at State Capitol

10:00 am - Meet in the Gallery

10:30 am - House resolution reading by Rep. Bhojani from the House Floor

11:00 am - Short remarks from Rep. Bhojani & other Reps. in the Supreme Court room

11:45 am - Place Religious Scripture in the Chapel & Rep. Bhojani’s office

12:00 pm - Group photo on the North Steps of the Capitol

12:15 pm - Guests can opt into public tours, visit their reps/senators, or grab lunch

1:15 pm - Bus departure from Austin

We kindly ask for your RSVP by April 30. All participants must be registered in advance.

Also, let us know if you are interested in traveling via a chartered bus to and from Austin. If we have enough interest and participants, we can make arrangements. Please note, filling out this RSVP form does not guarantee a spot on the bus. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
