Join us at the Carver Museum on Saturday, May 3, from 11:00 am-2:30pm, for a morning of self-reflection and self-care as we explore The Art of Love. Artist and Art historian, Sabrina Phillips, will facilitate an expressive art workshop where guest will participate in and create contemporary art inspired by love for self, and love for others. Bring someone you love to participate in this fun, creative workshop.
Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring supplies to share!
Sabrina Phillips, a professor of Art History, combines a wealth of international teaching experience with a passion for integrating social justice into art education. With a Master’s in Art History, Sabrina has taught across diverse cultural landscapes, including England, Egypt, Qatar, and Thailand, each of which has enriched her perspective on the global art world and the varied ways students engage with visual culture. Sabrina’s deep commitment to fostering inclusive and culturally responsive spaces is a central tenet of her work, a thread that runs through her diverse professional experiences.
