We are thrilled to welcome internationally acclaimed photojournalist Natalie Keyssar to the stage this month! She will be presenting work from Ukraine and Venezuela for a talk about Art, Conflict and Media.
Natalie is a documentary photographer based in Brooklyn, New York and her work focuses on the personal effects of political turmoil and conflict, youth culture, and migration.
Keyssar has contributed to publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Time, Bloomberg Business Week, National Geographic, The New Yorker, and California Sunday Magazine. She has taught New Media at the International Center of Photography in New York and has instructed at various workshops across the US and Latin America with organizations such as Foundry, Women Photograph, The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, and the IWMF. She is a Canon Explorer of Light and Co-Founder of the NDA Workshops series with Daniella Zalcman.
We will start early at 6pm at ArtHubATX who have generously offered to host us. We have a hard out at 8p so we'll save the community slideshow for next month!
