Art and Samosa Saturday!

This Labor Day weekend, beat the heat and enjoy an afternoon of creativity, arts, community, and spicy bites at this indoor celebration featuring samosas and chai alongside an inspiring display of artwork and a curated collection of community art activities.

Matinee Experience 4p to 6p

• Delight in tasty sips and snacks, including Indian samosas, coffee, and chai
• Enjoy art-making activities and admire inspiring displays of original art

Soiree Experience 6p to 9p

• 6p to 7:30p: Create your own Texas-themed souvenir painting featuring a Texas Longhorn in a live step-by-step painting session along with other attendees! All supplies included, and you'll get to take your masterpiece home with you!
• 7:30p onwards: Enjoy live music during the evening portion of the event. Mingle, sip and snack, and enjoy the music, as you stroll around to admire inspiring displays of original art.

Fun Photo Opps and Activities All Day Long!

• Smile and take a photo with "Joy," our life-size Texas Longhorn lovingly handpainted by local community members on a 12-foot backdrop with a hill country landscape scene.
• Enjoy arts activities and contribute to fun community arts projects, including the Citywide Community Tile Mosaic, a project we've been curating all summer long with contributions from community members across Austin.
• Spend some time at the Cards for Seniors table with other community members and work together to craft a few handmade cards for local seniors living in longterm care facilities.

All tickets include entry and spicy bites with plenty of time to enjoy photo opps, curated art displays, live music, and community arts activities.

Matinee 4p to 6p

• Adult Matinee Experience- ages 12+
• Youth Matinee Experience- ages 12 and under

Soiree 6p to 9p

• General Soiree Experience- Evening experience without the painting session
• Premium Soiree Experience- Includes a seat in the Texas Longhorn painting session at 6pm
• VIP Soiree Experience- VIP evening experience with VIP reserved seat for the Texas Longhorn painting session, complimentary souvenir tote bag, and VIP reserved onsite parking at the venue

All proceeds will support the Joy for Seniors initiative by Artly World Nonprofit, an initiative to bring joy to the lives of isolated seniors living in care facilities in Austin. More info about this program on the website at www.joyforseniors.org/about
