President Trump's executive order promises a new approach to addressing the homelessness problem in Texas. After the failure of prioritizing "housing first" for the last decade and millions of dollars spent with little results, it's time to attack the issue of homelessness at the root causes like mental illness or substance abuse.
This panel will address the homelessness issue, analyze President Trump's executive order, and examine what the change in approach can mean for the policy space going into the 90th Legislative Session. Join TPPF for a compelling and productive discussion on how Texas can tackle homelessness head on.
Complimentary lunch will be provided for in-person attendees, and you are also welcome to register for a livestream ticket and tune in online.
