7th Annual Violet Crown Trail Fun Run!

Join Hill Country Conservancy on National Public Lands Day for our seventh annual Violet Crown Trail Fun Run!

National Public Lands Day is a celebration of the deep connection between people and nature, inspiring stewardship, volunteerism, and community care for the places we love. By participating in our Fun Run, you're not just enjoying the Violet Crown Trail; you're joining thousands across the country in celebrating and protecting the public lands that make outdoor adventures possible.

About the Fun Run

Lace up your shoes for a 3-mile Fun Run starting at Whirlpool Patio. Enjoy the route as you please—you can run, walk, roll, or skip—as long as you have FUN! Our annual Fun Run promotes health and well-being throughout our community while highlighting the interconnectivity of the Trail between neighborhoods, peaceful wooded areas, convenient urban amenities, and neighborhood parks. The run will kick off right at 8:00AM.

Finish Line Celebration

Wrap up your run at the finish line party until 11 AM. Grab some refreshments, learn about the Edwards Aquifer and Whirlpool Cave, and meet some of the fantastic community partners who support the Violet Crown Trail, outdoor education, and our native Hill Country wildlife!

Your registration fee directly supports Hill Country Conservancy and the Violet Crown Trail you love.
