Rising Sun Kids Summer Camp 2025

During their summer camp days, campers will have a chance to explore outside and gain an appreciation for nature both during structured and unstructured play. While hiking, they will learn about and look for evidence of the animals that live in Colorado, and learn to identify various plants in the area as well as acquire a knowledge of their medicinal and edible properties. Campers will learn about water in both a knowledge-based and experiential way, having a chance to both splash around in the creek and have explore time as well as learn about the critters that live there.

In addition, they will journey through practices like breath-work, mindfulness, journaling, crafting, games, and other creative avenues. We will learn about nutrition and make a healthy snack each day. Of course, we will also play games and have special activities in these segments of camp. This summer, get your kids moving out in nature while learning about the natural world around them!

Campers entering 6th - 8th grade may sign up to be a junior staffer at a discounted price. They will still enjoy all the fun of camp but will also have the chance to take on more of a leadership role throughout the camp day. If they'd prefer not to have leadership experience, they can sign up as a regular Rising Sun Kids camper instead!
