Churn to Learn : Kids will learn where their food comes from and explore the journey from farm to table. We'll talk about making sustainable food choices and experience churning butter in a mason jar. After our activity, the kids will decorate their own butter jars.
This is a free drop off program for children from 8 to 11 years old, but donations are greatly appreciated to help us continue offering these fun and educational experiences! Please have your child dress for the weather and outdoor exploration, we have programs rain or shine. Rain boots, bug spray, sunscreen, water bottles and snack are suggested. An extra set of clothes is suggested; we like water and aren't afraid to get wet!
