COSAD 2025 Aurora Community Candidate Forum

Come join us to get to know the candidates running for Aurora City Council and Aurora Board of Education. Why are should be engage in these elections?

• South Asian community in Aurora has a direct stake in City Council & School Board elections. These elections affect school quality, public safety, housing, small business support, cultural inclusion.
• Odd year elections have low voter turnout, which means every vote carries real weight — if we don’t participate, others will decide on issues .
• By voting and engaging, we ensure our voices are heard, our community is supported and strenghtened.

We will have our Aurora South Asian community leaders Zahra Naqvi and Binisha Shrestha moderate a discussion with the candidates. This is opportunity for the community and the candidates to learn of one another.
