Pilgrimage of Peace

Nineteen Buddhist monks—accompanied by their loyal dog, Aloka—are walking from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington, D.C. to raise awareness of peace, loving-kindness, and compassion across America and the world.
The Center for Spiritual Living St. Augustine is organizing a caravan to meet them in Union, South Carolina on January 14. We will be bringing sand from our shores—as the first community established in North America—to offer as a blessing and symbol of unity for them to carry on their journey.
