Be among the first to experience the story of one of America’s most iconic landmarks at the premiere of Preserving the Ponce documentary and the open house of the newly renovated Ponce Hall, formerly the Hotel Ponce de Leon.
Join us on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Lewis Auditorium for this special event.
Built in 1888 by visionary industrialist Henry Flagler, the Ponce was a marvel of its age, boasting electricity installed by Thomas Edison, dazzling Tiffany stained glass, and Spanish Renaissance architecture that transformed St. Augustine into a Gilded Age destination.
The new documentary captures the legacy of the Ponce as both a luxury hotel and the heart of Flagler College today, celebrating its place as a National Historic Landmark that continues to inspire. Following the screening, explore the restored spaces of Ponce Hall and see firsthand how careful preservation and thoughtful renovation have renewed the building’s beauty for generations to come.
Step inside history, where the past and future of Flagler College meet.
