Learn to Row Class August 2025

Come join us to Learn to Row at the Augusta Rowing Club.

Dates of the class:

Tuesday 8/12/25, 6pm

Thursday 8/14/25, 6pm

Saturday 8/16/25, 8am

Tuesday 8/19/25, 6pm

Thursday 8/21/25, 6pm

Saturday 8/23/25, 8am

Tuesday 8/26/25, 6pm


No experience required, we spend time on the land learning the basics and terminology. Eventually we make it onto the water and by the end of the class you should be ready to keep rowing with the group if you want to continue being part of the club.

If you can't make it to one of the classes that shouldnt be an issue just let us know beforehand.



*Please note all rowers need to be able to lift weight above their head and carry them on your shoulders to move equipment to the water. It is recommended to be able to lift 20-25lbs to your head to be able to comfortably carry the boats.


Cost is $185 for 7 classes with the group and coach.

All equipment needed will be provided just bring yourself and a water bottle.

Note: extra baggy clothes can get caught in equipment. Sporty attire recommended
